Te Reo and Tikanga Māori

Tua Marina School is committed to developing a future for it’s Māori students and community where the school can honour their commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi, and ensure the best possible educational outcomes for their students.  

Māori language (Te Reo) and Māori culture (Tikanga Māori) are integrated as much as possible into teaching and learning programmes. Local iwi are consulted and encouraged to be involved with the school.
